Blossoms by Boat, Bike and Dinner Cruises

If you're interested in the great outdoors, rent a bike and enjoy the picturesque George Washington Memorial Parkway; or cruise south eight miles to George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens for a garden tour this spring.

Blossoms by Bike River Ride: Ride along the scenic Mount Vernon Trail from Old Town Alexandria to DC and experience magnificent views of the cherry blossoms from across the Potomac River. We will then continue into DC and around the Tidal Basin where you will see the blossoms up close and learn the history of these beautiful gifts before heading back to Alexandria. 80th Annual Historic Garden Tour | April 20. All eight private properties on the historic Old Town Alexandria tour are within an easy walk of each other, allowing visitors to enjoy strolling the quaint streets lined with charming townhouses and intimate walled gardens. The full tour ticket includes free admission to George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate as well as six other notable historic sites in Alexandria on the day of the tour.
