Wammie-award winning band Dead Men’s Hollow will perform both Civil War songs and their own songs that deal with the Civil War and its aftermath. Between the songs, local actors will read letters and diary entries written by soldiers and civilians during the Civil War. Of particular interest will be diary entries by an Alexandria girl who recorded events throughout the war. A coffee and dessert reception, donated by Whole Foods, follows the performance.
