Bloomers is an underwear, loungewear and sleepwear boutique. Created by the owners of another Old Town favorite, Bellacara, the concept for Bloomers came out of frustration for the owners because they felt that most stores of its kind focused more on lingerie rather than beautiful necessities. For most of us, our lingerie simply sits in our drawer waiting for that "special occasion" while we compromise on our everyday necessities. Deciding that comfortable underwear, sleep attire and loungewear didn't have to look like the three-pack from a bargain bin or their husband's sweatpants and college t-shirts, the pair set out to create a store where comfort, practicality, style and pretty are the focus. Feeling as though you’ve walked inside a Tiffany’s box, Bloomers envelopes you with turquoise blue walls and hot pink accents. It is decidedly the “un-lingerie” store. Bloomers proudly offers brands such as Hanky Panky, Eberjey, Spanx, On Gossamer, Mary Green, HUE, Splendid, Hollywood Fashion Tape, C&C California, NuBra, Wacoal and many more.
