  • Description: Collingwood Library and Museum was originally a part of the George Washington River Farm estate. After changing hands over the years, Collingwood is now a library, museum, and prime event venue located right on the Potomac River just four miles outside of Old Town Alexandria, VA. In 2008, Collingwood added American Legacy Center to the property. The American Legacy Center is a handicap accessible, equipped with projection screen, PA system, catering amenities, and room to seat up to 240 people comfortably in its main room, the American Legacy Center is the perfect venue for every event. The clean, functional space, allows freedom to create an atmosphere to suit a business meeting, luncheon, or corporate festivities, offering the flexibility to create the event you desire!
