From 1785-1903, the house served as the home to 37 members of the Lee family. John L. Lewis, a powerful and controversial labor leader, lived in the house from 1937-1969.
Private tours are available for groups of ten or more. Educational tours for school and youth groups are also available. Advance reservations are required for all group tours, at least two weeks prior to tour date. Discounts are offered for groups of more than 20 people.
