Farmers' Market To-Go 

Access fresh food from your favorite vendors while also maintaining social distancing. Pre-order items then pick up your order at Alexandria’s regular farmers' market locations during their regular times. See below for a list of participating vendors. Customers are asked to maintain six feet of social distancing when picking up orders and are encouraged to follow safe food handling practices, including washing all fruits and vegetables in accordance with FDA guidance for cleaning produce.

Baked by Yael is a nut-free and kosher bakery specializing in hand-rolled bagels, challah, cakepops and other delicious baked goods, as well as gluten-free and vegan options. Chocotenango is a small, family-run, but internationally recognized artisan chocolate company. Chocotenango's bean-to-bar chocolates are made from fine organic cocoa beans. Available items include large and small bean-to-bar chocolate bars. Please note that Chocotenango is doing online orders for delivery by USPS, not to be picked up at the market. Coulter Farms is a family farm is Juniata County, Pennsylvania. They offer Certified Organic, 100% grass-fed beef, lamb and dairy (including bottled milk, cheese, yogurt and kefir); raw wildflower honey; pastured free-range eggs; and whey-fed pork. To place a pick-up order, go to to www.CoulterFarms.net and click on the Online Store tab. During checkout, select "Special Old Town Alexandria Market Pickup." The cost of your order will only be an estimate if you have ordered any variable weight items like meat or cheese. Orders will be assembled on Fridays and you will receive the actual total for your order when you arrive to pick it up. Please order by 8 a.m. Fridays.

Hog Haven Farm LLC is a family-run, pasture-raised heritage hog farm offering a range of USDA cuts of pork and hot breakfast sandwiches. King Mushrooms, based on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, cultivates a variety of exotic mushrooms as well as Hungarian mushroom soup and marinated mushrooms. Maribeth’s Bakery is a family-owned, certified woman-owned business operating totally within the City of Alexandria. They have been a vendor at the Old Town Alexandria Farmers' Market for 34 years. Offerings include fresh bread; breakfast pastries such as danishes, muffins and croissants; pies; tea loaves; "toaster pastries;" cookies; and decorated iced cookie shapes. Pearl Fine Teas is the Washington, D.C. area's finest tea purveyor. They provide loose leaf teas and herbal wellness remedies. Shlagel Farms is a family farm in Southern Maryland that has been growing fruits and vegetables for 109 years. Woofbowl specializes in healthy whole food dog treats that look remarkably like human food truck items. Family of Nuts is a family-owned and operated nut roaster in Chantilly, Virginia, that dry-roasts fresh nuts to order with no added oils or preservatives. Offerings include almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, peanuts and pistachios, as well as dried apricots, raisins and figs. Family of Nuts recently began roasting their own coffee and will be offering medium and dark roasts. Maillard Therapy is a family-owned cottage food business, based in Alexandria and offering fresh homemade baked goods.
