“19” is the dynamic and little-known story of Alice Paul, the suffragists and their fight to get women the right to vote-- the 19th Amendment. The inspirational story of these fearless suffragists is brought to life through jazz, spoken word, dance and audience interaction.
Old Town-based theater, film and media company Through the 4th Wall will be “workshopping” Act I of this new original immersive musical. These sneak-peak, work-in-progress performances will include light hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, the first part of the show and a Q&A with the creators after the performance.
For those interested in the topic and “how the musical sausage is made,” these performances are a chance to see parts of the show during its development.
