In honor of National Historic Preservation Month, explore spaces not often open to the public at four of Alexandria's historic sites in this 3-hour walking tour of Gadsby's Tavern Museum, the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum, Lee-Fendall House, and Carlyle House Historic Park. Tour highlights include historic graffiti, hidden architectural fragments, and alleys that connect our city.
Tour begins at 9 AM at Lee-Fendall House, 614 Oronoco Street; tour ends at Carlyle House by Market Square parking garage around 11:30 AM. This tour includes walking over many city blocks, stairs, access to confined spaces. Walking shoes required, bottled water suggested.
