When the show must go on – it goes on virtually! Come bust a gut with us as we explore comedy online. Students will learn the basics of comedic storytelling and comedic timing. They will work together on a short comedic script where they learn to connect with others on camera to bring characters to life through movement and vocal characterization. Stage and film acting combine in a madcap performance on the LTA virtual stage! This class is geared to actors new to the stage or veteran LTA actors who want to strengthen their acting ability – including how to reach your audience when performing virtually! Students will perform in a small reader’s theatre production which will be aired for family and friends at the end of class on February 13th.
