This class will guide you through the evolution of musicals, the details behind the writers and composers, as well as how stage productions have evolved over the years. The course will be filled with lots of musical examples, light-hearted lectures, and maybe even a virtual performance. American Musical Theatre has always advanced issues in our society, and you will discover how even shows of the Golden Era address many issues that we face today. Your personal input and show interests will also be incorporated into our sessions. Take a break from the hectic life we are leading and bask in the magical splendor of musical theatre. Students will receive a Zoom link prior to the start of class.  Ages 18+.  Instructor for this class is Steve McBride and his bio can be found online at www.thelittletheatre.com.
