The largest mid-century modern home and garden tour on the East Coast returns this spring. This self-guided walking tour will showcase stunning examples of mid-century modern architecture, landscaping and interior design throughout this unique neighborhood listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register and National Register of Historic Places. New this year, “Cars and Coffee” will feature dozens of vintage and antique automobiles from the mid-century era, including the opportunity to chat with the owners and other classic car enthusiasts. “Morning Yoga” will feature an all-abilities class to help get the blood pumping before a day of touring the neighborhood. The tour will also welcome two internationally recognized artists, Caroline Ramersdorfer and John Van Alstine, who will be on hand to discuss their work. All ticket holders are required to check in at registration to receive a wristband and program that includes a listing and map of all the homes and gardens open during the tour. The tour will take place rain or shine.
