We will start with 45 minutes of yin poses (static poses on the ground , held for several minutes and supported with props as needed). Yin yoga is a great way to bring back elasticity to the connective tissues in the body while staying in a meditative state of acceptance of who and where we are in the present moment as we cultivate resilience.
The second part of the class will be a 45 minutes of Nidra Meditation, a guided meditation done while laying on the ground in a fully supported shavasana using bolsters, blankets and blocks. No previous experience in yoga is needed and suitable for all.
