    Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia minutes from King Street, The Rectory on Princess Street is an intimate venue perfect for small meetings and other special events.

    The Rectory, dating from 1785 formerly served as the rectory of the nearby historic Christ Church, once the church of George Washington. Since then, it has been owned by several distinguished Virginians and has been a commercial office since the 1960’s.

    Our conference room can comfortably accommodate 12 guests at the conference table but can accommodate up to 15 guests with some added chairs with no table access. A laptop can be connected to a medium size television screen for presentations. We have a staff member who can assist but our staff are not professionally trained tech support. An easel and markers can be provided if needed. Wi-Fi is available. We do not offer on site catering but food can be delivered and we do have a small kitchenette where food items can be stored but not prepared.
