Named after Vola Lawson, a much-loved and iconic civil leader in Alexandria. Vola's Dockside Grill features 87 outdoor seats on the water, a main dining room and bar area decorated with over 100 pictures of historical Alexandria, and a retro-cool, hideaway bar on King and Union.
Vola's menu features fresh shucked oysters, crab cakes, conch fritters, lobster rolls, shrimp and oyster po-boys, Atlantic cod fish & chips, crispy fried chicken, and New England or Carolina low country steamer pails. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday.
