Taking care of ourselves is often at the bottom of our to do list but it is essential to live a happier, fuller and calmer life. Come to breathe and renew with us in this special 1.5 hr class specifically designed to bring openness to the body and peace to the mind.
We will start with yin poses (static poses on the ground, held for few minutes and supported with props as needed). Yin yoga is a great way to bring back elasticity to the connective tissues in the body while staying in a meditative state of acceptance of who and where we are in the present moment as we cultivate resilience.
The second part of the class will be a Nidra Meditation, a guided meditation done while laying on the ground in a fully supported shavasana using bolsters, blankets and blocks.
PREREQUISITE: No previous experience in yoga is needed and suitable for all.
