Planning a trip to Alexandria?  When you arrive, make your first stop our Visitor Center located at 221 King Street in Old Town.  You'll find brochures, maps, and tickets to a variety of tours and attractions. Our knowledgeable staff is ready to help you find local favorites and ongoing events.

This Visitor Center was once a private home to the family of William Ramsay, Scottish merchant, and city founder. Today, you can still find warm hospitality waiting for you.

April - September:

  • Sunday - Wednesday open from 10am-6pm
  • Thursday - Saturday open from 10am-8pm

October - March:

  • Open from 10am-5pm, 7 days/week
