The Alexandria Wedding Showcase is proud to partner with Brides Across America, a national nonprofit that provides wedding gowns and entire weddings to both military and first responder couples nationwide. Brides Across America has assisted thousands of military couples since its inception in 2008. In 2016, first responders have become part of their mission, as a thank you to those who serve in the United States. Brides Across America, in collaboration with bridal salons, designers, and individual donations, has donated more than 20,000 wedding gowns and 22 weddings. The Operation Wedding Gown initiative has been featured in O Magazine, PEOPLE, Steve Harvey Show, as well as honored at the White House part of the Joining Forces Initiative. During the Showcase, 20 pre-selected brides will be gifted a wedding gown, donated by the charity, as a small thank you for all that they do for our country and communities. Are you a military or first responder bride? If so, register for the gown giveaway on Brides Across America*.
*Please note that there is a $40 registration fee from Brides Across America in order to receive your gown. Brides that register for the gown giveaway will receive two complimentary tickets to the Showcase.
In addition to the gown giveaway, $2 from each ticket sold to the Alexandria Wedding Showcase will be donated to Brides Across America. Additional donations to Brides Across America are greatly appreciated. Attendees have the option to make a donation when purchasing tickets and will receive an additional entry in to the grand prize of a FREE wedding at The Hilton Alexandria Mark Center for each $10 donation (i.e. one extra entry for $10, two extra entries for $20, etc.).
